Monsoon is the season of relaxation, excitement, and fun. However, the season also invites a number of health problems. So, It is extremely important to prevent yourself from getting infected during rainy seasons. It is always advisable to take some precautions and prepare yourself whenever you go out from the home. Here are some tips that would surely help you stay healthy during this rainy season.


1. Wash your hands regularly, with water and soap-


Clean your hands for at least 30 seconds with water and soap. Keeping your hands clean prevent you from spreading germs and infections.


2. Drink a lot of liquids-


It is advisable to take warm drinks such as soups or tea in the rainy season. It prevents you from dehydration as well as soothes your sore throat problems which are most common in this season.


3. Consume vegetables and fruits high in antioxidants-


Increase your consumptions of fresh vegetables and fruits. It boosts your immune power and prevents you from getting infected.


4. Stay away from people who are sick-


It is highly recommended to you that especially in rainy season, keep a distance from the sick people. Because germs and virus spread from coming contact and may cause you ill. If you do shake hand with them, make sure you wash your hand with soap and water.


5. Wash the sheet and pillow cases regularly-


Keep changing the sheets and pillow on a regular interval, it prevents spread of infections.


6. Use hand sanitizer


Use hand sanitizer to clean your hand, when you can not get soap and water.


7. Avoid sharing kitchen utensils-


Do not share plates, spoons, forks, and glasses with others, to prevent the transmission of viruses or bacteria from an infected person.


8. Cover your mouth when sneezing-


Cover your mouth and nose with a handkerchief when you sneeze or a cough. This can greatly reduce the spread of the viruses or bacteria.


9. Take warm bath or shower-


Taking warm bath or shower can help to fight the virus as well as reduce chances of getting sore throat and flu.


10. Put your mask on when you are in a public area-


This is the most effective method to protect yourself from viruses and bacterias, which enter through respiratory organ and cause infections.


11. Avoid touching your face


Avoid touching your eyes and face. Frequently touching your face increases the risk of infection as your hand may have been infected with germs and viruses.
